2. Ah, another new blog-fan.

I don't have my own, (yet) but I've made two entries on one I was just invited to post at and it's--well, for me, it's stressful and intimidating. Mostly because the site was created by some people I've admired from afar for a long time now and I'm still shocked they wanted me to write for them. Also, the place gets a fair number of hits and so people are actually reading my work--first time in ages I've had an audience. Today, I had comments--comments!--in response to my entry. So, I've resolved to post daily. But it's not quite addictive for me. More like a terrifying and thrilling obligation.

3. You might want to consider using something other than MSN Spaces...

LiveJournal or Blogger, perhaps. MSN Spaces require you log into your MSN account to view them, which means some people won't be able to see it.

The user/pass I gave you should still work. I have it all throttled now so I don't need worry about going over. It is set at 60 Gigs per month for that user. Feel free to use it if you need to host big files.

4. I started a blog and stopped it quickly

I realized I would have to feed the damn thing every day. I didn't have time for it, because everything had to be well-thought out, well-written, meticulously researched, and perfectly proofed and spell-checked before I would post. So, a simple two-graf comment on Dick Cheney's voting record in the House, for instance, could very quickly become an hour-long ordeal.
