http://cgi.ebay.com/Ballast-of-Endeavour-Captain-Cooks-ship-1780-in-resin_W0QQitemZ7713340920QQcategoryZ4002QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

This is a Once In A Lifetime Opportunity to purchase a piece of Australia's past history. One piece of ship Ballast from Captain James Cook's Ship Endeavour (with proof of authenticity). During one of Captain Cook's voyages the ship The Endeavour was run aground on the Great Barrier Reef. At this time he had to throw some ship ballast overboard in order to make to Endeavour float again. This piece was recovered from the Great Barrier Reef by a scientific research team sometime in the sixties. One piece was donated to my Grandmother, who owned the Largest Antique Shop in Australia at the time called the Endeavour Galleries at Gilgandra, NSW, and as far as I know, there are no other private pieces available. This relic from the past has been set in clear resin to protect this piece in pristine condition as it was collected from the sea.

2. Once it was set in resin,
it became worthless to me.

I've got a mason jar filled with what some believe is the water John the Baptist used to baptise Jesus himself. How it got into a mason jar, I do not know. But that's not important. What IS important, is that it's Jesus's Baptismal Water........BID NOW!!
