PRAISE THE LORD!! We have daycare!!! CHRISTIAN DAYCARE!!!

SO we dragged our feet and forever and didn't get daycare lined up. My wife goes back to week on the 26th so last week I started calling.

Thanks to some tips from a co-worker I called several places. One was a Baptist church, they had no slots open but said I should try this other place. Well they had a slot (one of four) so we went to check the place out. Okay not bad but then I have nothing to compare it to. About 80 kids there and there was quite a mix from what we saw (not all golden haired Christian soldiers). My wife said she was okay with it but wasn't sure about me.

I told her that since she wanted our child to have a Christian/churchin' component in her life I would go along with it. I look at it as a chance for me to learn and observe these people's habits. I went to church when I was a kid too (it stuck I got it no need to go back) so what could it hurt.

This place is really into it (not "Holly Lillies" like even my church going friends). Okay.

WE GOT DAYCARE!!!!

It is going to kill me to leave her for the day. My wife is going to feel like she is abandoning her.
