Guys--I really need some advice---pls.
What would you do if you found out that someone hid their affiliation with a hate group, but is now employed by a company that puts them in contact with a large, diverse population on a daily basis?

:scared:

4. I wish that's all I was talking about--
nothing illegal about being conservative.

2. Is there a way you can inform the HR department anonymously?
If so, I would do that.

6. I hate to see the day when we're informing on one another
for having ideas, even if those ideas are repugnant ones. I know how you're feeling, bliss_eternal. It's an ethical quandry, for sure. But unless you have evidence that the person is somehow prosyletizing, has misrepresented the company, or done something illegal or unethical, I'd let it ride and keep my eyes open.

7. That's exactly what I'm worried about--
I don't feel that ethically I should call it out. Yet at the same time, the stuff they are into--it's all so dangerous...

On one hand, if they act out, on the job I'm sure someone would write them up or dismiss them for acting on any of their 'beliefs.'

Yet on the other hand, I wonder if I am leaving someone at risk, knowing what this person is--and leaving it... I mean, what if....Argh! This is hard...

I just don't want to see this person hurt someone, or try to hurt someone--they seem unstable...
