but my IQ is considered to be well above average(not saying what it is but let's say it got me teased on a regular basis and ridiculed at home).
I'm a huge Doors fan, even though my IQ is not on the low end of the spectrum. Then again, I also used to do alot of acid. Maybe acid trips level out IQ levels.

28. Jim Morrison was a genius and an idiot, an 'artist' and a poseur, a poet

and a pretentious hack. On balance, he was something very special and much of the Doors' music holds up after all these years. You don't have to buy into alleged depth of lyrics to appreciate the sound and feel. And, yeah, he did have some interesting lyrical moments. Stuff like "The End," "Riders On The Storm," and more pop-friendly things like "Light My Fire" and "Hello, I Love You" are great songs. I wonder what would have been had Jimbo lived past 27...I wonder if he ever could have lived past 27.
