I bought 3 pairs of pants at the GoodWill today for $16

The store was full of people- this is on the edge of a mall. Normally I wouldn't shop there, I'd enjoy poking around the mall stores for sales.

Today I figured I can't spend much because of gas prices. The guy ahead of me in line told me he had to get rid of his Brewers tickets because he couldn't afford the gas for the round trip Madison-Milwaukee.

1. I love Goodwill. It's the only place I shop for clothes, and the

only place I can afford to. I find really nice things there

2. Actually I was pretty happy with these purchases

I am a computer tech so I do a lot of lifting and crawling under desks- my job is actually hard on my clothes, so there's no sense spending money on them.

The pants aren't new but they're in very good condition, they fit, and I got a good deal. 3 pairs instead of 1 pair on sale.

3. I used to buy silverware at Goodwill all the time..

Teenage boys throw silverware away with the paper plates :grr:

I actually bought real silverware there occasionally.."Eeew Mom, don;t buy the BLACK ones" :) a quarter for forks... 10 cents for spoons
