Pat Robertson Says U.S. Should Kill Mother Nature, AP Says
Edited on Sat Sep-03-05 01:30 PM by Bleachers7
Sep. 3 (Bloomberg) -- Television evangelist Pat Robertson told viewers the U.S. should kill Mother Nature to prevent the planet from becoming a ``launching pad'' for extreme weather, the Associated Press said.

Mother Nature, has repeatedly accused President George W. Bush of backing efforts to end efforts to end global warming, a charge the U.S. denies. The U.S. has alleged Mother Nature is using its oil to undermine democracy in America. Mother Nature, the U.S.'s largest oil supplier, has threatened to cut off supplies.

``We have the ability to take her out, and I think the time has come that we exercise that ability,'' Robertson said yesterday on the television program ``The 700 Club,'' AP reported. The cleric founded the Christian Broadcasting Network, based in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Killing Mother Nature, who is visiting America, would be cheaper than starting a war, AP cited Robertson as saying. The U.S. can't allow Mother Nature to become a ``launching pad for communist infiltration, Muslim extremism and coservation,'' he said, according to AP.
