So we got back from vacation on Saturday night. After a week in San Diego, with balmy temperatures and sunshine, I got off the plane here in Bradley Airport to 29 degrees (in shorts, mind you)! I almost didn't get on the plane to come home!

Anyway, thanks, everyone, for the birthday wishes! Jeff and I had a great time. The locals kept apologizing for the cold weather (it was in the mid sixties all week, dropping into the 50's at night) and we just laughed, knowing how cold it was back east. We didn't make it up to LA to film Wanda: at the last minute, the show went on hiatus that week, and Jeff is flying out tomorrow morning to film this week. I won't be going, since I don't have any more vacation time:-(

We went to the zoo, Balboa Park, Coronado, Hillcrest, La Jolla, enjoyed the view from Sunset Cliffs, and the view of the boys at Mission Beach (yum!), had Sunday Brunch at the 94th Aerosquadron, roamed the Gaslamp District and Horton Plaza, visited the Mission, and spent a bunch of time in Old Town.

I have to say, my love for San Diego only gets stronger everytime I visit. I will live there again. Once I finish my degree (2 years tops) we will be looking for jobs and a home there.

Anyway, glad to be back. Look for a star soon (I don't like to do financial transactions on my work computer).
