18. I had a few training sessions like that in the

large telecomm company that I retired from. One of the guidelines that really sticks out in my mind is that we were told you could only touch other employees of the opposite gender below the elbow, and then do it very carefully. Seems a little extreme but I guess it keeps them out of court.

I still remember having to explain to my boss AT A SOCIAL SERVICE AGENCY! that he and the other guys shouldn't be 'looking' at one of the women who worked for me to see if she didn't wear a bra. I had not actually noticed myself. She was extremely beautiful, and I suspect they would not have noticed had that not been the case. Although it would have been bad regardless. I myself could not tell. That was fun. :eyes:

When I worked at a community college, we got the same thing, though I had been there a year before I got around to attending. It was kind of funny: Most of the session focused on sexual harassment of students and of fellow coworkers. The library staff there all asked about how harassment BY students was handled. The HR person was perplexed: Apparently, being in her nice admin offices in a building off campus, it didn't occur to her that this could occur.
