1. I am the same, xultar
I cannot stand to see animals being hurt either by humans or other animals. I know I am a total hypocrite because I am not a vegetarian.

6. DITTO! I'm not a vegetarian either. I've tried to be a vegetarian too.
I couldn't do it. I 've tried a lot of times I usually get to about 30 days and then crack. IT makes me feel like such an ass too.

3. Animal Planet is a great idea, but
It seems whenever I tune in there is a segment on a forelorn, neglected dog.

4. Me too. I know that they have to eat, and it's natural but...
I don't want to see it. They usually show the predator as starving and desperately needing to eat or having babies to feed, and the prey which is trying desperately to save its life or its baby's life. I feel so torn, and I just don't put myself through it anymore.

5. It totally freaks me out to see anything that's injurious to animals
In a way, I wish I weren't like that but my love of animals is
such that I simply can't bear it.

You're not alone.

7. I was just watchinc a show on Nat'l Geographic and there were
whales using a beaching technique to hunt seal pups. I was reaally sad about the whole thing. But, @ the end after one whale had eaten his 3 pups it made a catch and then spit the pup back out on the beach unharmed.
