3. It's ok...Marisa Tomei did NOT deserve the Oscar for her performance.
Otherwise, it was a pretty good comedy. The best thing in it was Fred Gwynne. :-)

Seriously, out side of Slums of Beverely Hills, Marissa hasn't made the greatest selection of movies...

I love her as well and think she should have been a leading lady, but hey, what do I know....

17. Nope, you're not losing your mind
it's a good movie. It wasn't widely publicized when it came out--no huge publicity event or anything. It began with some word of mouth by people, until it became much better known. The real event that got it better known was when it got several Academy Award nominations, and that year Marisa Tomei won the Oscar when Jack Palance announced her name, and that was the major shocker since people thought one of two other actors were going to win. Some people even thought he had said the wrong name!

But it's got a lot of great elements that work, so it is fun to watch.
