My cat has removed his collar.
When i try to put it back on him, he takes it off. This is after about 10 years of being a little diva who has to have his collar. When it was taken off, he would throw a little siamese kitty fit. He would not let the calico have a collar.

Now the siamese will not wear a collar.

They are strange, strange little critters.

3. The cat I had as a kid used to take off her collar a few times a year
It would just disappear and we couldn't figure out what she did with it for a long time. We finally found out she had been going outside, hooking the collar on the branch of a bush and then backing out of the collar. She was a very smart cat, ornery as shit, but smart.

4. 21 lb. Birman here
Smart little shit, too. They especially know time really well. Mack the Cat will wake me up in the early hours on the weekend, thinking that if he don't, I'll be late for work.

Meows LOUD in the ear. Relentless.

Needless to say, since I don't work weekends, he's probably been sent flying airborne at times. Possibly. LOL

5. Maybe it just doesn't go ....
with the rest of his outfit.

Have him microchipped and try to keep him indoors.

We have a new kitten who behaves like an insane spider monkey. I have no hope of keeping a collar on this wild thing. The best I can hope for is to contain him.

9. My cats were doing really about wearing their collars
and then all 3 of them got them off somehow within weeks of each other. Strange. I wonder if they had a powwow first.
