I'm worried- did I break the law?
Late last night I was driving home and I saw headlights facing me in my lane. This was a residential neighborhood. I was scared it was a drunk driver or something so I slowed down. It appeared the car was stopped, so I slowly drove by.

The car was stopped near some parked cars. As I came near the front of the car, flashing police lights turned on for about two seconds and then turned off, no siren. It looked like he was making a drunk driving traffic stop. I didn't know what the quick light flash meant so I turned to the curb and sat there for about two minutes.

Nobody came up to me so I drove away. I assume the lights were just to let me know he was a police car, right? Did I break the law? I got my license recently and don't want to lose it!

1. Suspect it was just
to alert you that it was a police car.

Not to worry!

3. If he wanted you to stop he probably would have chased you.
Since he didn't, I'm sure you're okay.

6. I hope so,

because it would have been quite easy for him to glance at my license plate number and get my address.

Also, I am not allowed with my under 18 license to be driving between 1 and 5 am and it was about 2. So I was breaking the law there...

I also had a computer in my trunk (I was coming home from a LAN party, I'm a badass thug, see) so maybe he would think I was stealing it or something.

Anyway, I was worried earlier but it was probably because I was delirious from lack of sleep.

5. Yer screwed dude!
Come on now, if you violated a law you would have known about it by now. Just in case, hide the stash and the bong. Store any of your machine guns and bombs away from your home for a while. It might also be a good idea to get rid of anyone you might be holding captive in your basement.

At least thats what I would do.
