Not a good day for me to have been here today

After 2 and a half years I didn't think I would need to take a break from the Lounge, but I guess I do.
There have been too many sexist threads on here today. That is meaning to say attacks against both sexes and all sexual preferences. And there have also been a lot of "copycat" threads that are thinly veiled sexist attacks that weren't as hidden as were intended.
I once thought that I might not be as progressive as a lot of people here, but today I realized I am OK.
This isn't a "look at me, I'm leaving DU" thread, it's more of a "I am surprised at what I read here today" thread. Go ahead and flame away or whatever, I just have had a few tough weeks personally and today's lounge experience has been a little rough.
I'll see y'all soon. Be good to each other please. :)
