9. I am okay.
My leg started swelling up last evening. I am an RN so I knew something wasn't right. I called one of the surgeons at work and we decided to head out to the hospital.

They gave me some blood thinners and some pain meds. It should disolve in a few days!

How was your b-day???

11. In pain still
but not as much as before.... thanks to VICODIN!! YEEE HAW!

Anyway, with some meds it should break up on it's own. It's in my calf and not in a major artery.....

Your sweet for asking! :)

21. Fred
No real reason behind it, just seems like a good name for a blood clot. Not too wierd, not angry or aggresive sounding. Sounds like the kind of guy who'd stop in to visit but leave without causing too much trouble.

Hope you get better quickly. My mother had one a few months ago, even though her health is really bad it went away quickly, and she's fine now. Actually in few intervening months she's recovered from two surgeries and a brown recluse bite. She's lucky that way. :eyes:
