Had a conversation with a someone, thought that they were gay and then they told you that they were straight? (Turns out that they really are)

Vice versa too.

1. Yes. Darn breeders look at gay styles and hijack them...
The clothing, the jewelry, the eyeglass frame shape, the hairstyles...

I can determine lesbian women... Yet try to put me in a room full of gay and hetero men, don't expect me to figure them out (unless they clearly show signs of having the hots for me)...

3. "Wait a second... What Makes You Think I'm Gay?"
I bet that sentence would make a person want to crawl up and die.

I sir, have never been mistaken for a gay man.....

But I have been mistaken for a lesbian trapped in a man's body.....

5. I get mistaken for gay all the time
I refer to my boyfriend of ten years as my partner. When I refer to him as my partner, without gender, people just assume I'm gay. It doesn't bother me any, in fact, I think it's something of a compliment.

6. I've had people whom I've suspected might be gay/lesbian
And had them turn out to be straight (and vice-versa). An old boss of mine, for example, was one I would have thought to be gay until I found out he was married with five kids. Fortunately I've never had the misfortune of putting my foot in my mouth over it--yet.
