Well, except for those creepy Amish.

And Santorum.

But hey, I need to bring balance to the Force. :D

:P But FWIW, genealogically, my ancestry can be traced back in PA almost 300 years. :bounce:

5. Where in Pennsylvania?
Near the Philadelphia area? Your ancestors probably fought in the Revolutionary War, like mine did. They came over here from Germany in the mid 1700's.

10. We could join the D.A.R. and the S.A.R.!
But the Repubs who run them probably wouldn't let us in!

A lot of the veterans who fought in the Revolutionary War got paid in land grants. That's how my family ended up in Western Pa. We've lived there ever since.

12. Eventually...
My great-great grandfather left the area to head west, and settled in St. Louis. My great-grandfather was born there, and the westward migration of the lineage continued, causing me to be born in CA. :-)

9. Total bullshit I assure you
I have never been a bad guy.

It is true I do not suffer fools gladly, but that does not make one bad, just smart. :-)

2. We love you too, ZombyWoof!
You need to bring your new benevolent self to Pennsylvania to visit us.

And we like lots of coffee.

Philly was the destination of a 9th grade field trip, where we all stayed at the Marriott for 3 nights, and we made a side trip to Hershey, Reading, a Phillies game, et al... had great times.
