I mean it's obvious from the way we treat it that we don't give a damn about it.

Water? Overrated. Hell, we're making more potable water un-potable by the millions of gallons every day. I can't see any point of having this stuff around.

Trees? Shoot, unless I'm picking my teeth with some nice, minty wood, a tree has no purpose to exist. Get rid of that untidy old growth and give me some nicely neat and organized pine any day.

If there's some oil under something, we ought to drill it out. It's just a big waste down there. I've got two engines to feed.

Gosh darn it, this is our planet, we need to put it work.

Besides, it's the Twenty First Century and we've got the technology to recover our losses. We can leave this planet and take over another.

Start all over again, let's do it.

2. Ridiculous, ain't it?
Wingers think like this every day.

I don't know where they're coming from either.

3. Yup
If you listen to the right wingers enough you will get the impression that we live in a world of infinite abundance and that we can just continue the rate at which we are consuming.
