Poll question: What do you think of the new Daily Show set?

OK, those of you that might of seen the DS this week know they have a new studio and a new set. It's quite....ummmm...odd.

I'm still not sure what to make of it.

1. Who cares?

If they filmed TDS on frozen tundra with an audience comprised of only elk and moose, it would STILL be the best news show on the tube.

I was actually going to make a third option: Who Cares, Jon Stewart still kicks ass!

Sort of awkward at first. . . but then afterwards I was laughing my usual laugh during the shows that I hardly even noticed it.


The set design doesn't matter... the content those. In fact I think Stewart has been teasing about people giving the new set a bad reaction just a little bit :).

He said he's gone from being "a fake news host" to "captain" of a spaceship! BTW, I thought last night's show was especially well-done (though I didn't stick around for the guest. Who was that, anyway?):shrug:

5. Was last night's show...

the 1st with the new set? Monday's show was a repeat here.:shrug:

6. Not sure why they bothered.

The new set doesn't look any better than the last one.

I also noticed that Stewart's game seemed to be off a bit. The first few gags just weren't funny. then had to turn it off before I could watch further.

12. I love the obvious and subliminal motion in the scenic design.
