2. MS is bored, but okay
Everything closed down. Barely a poof of wind and a shower of rain. Very anti-climatic after days of preparation.

Of course, there's always more on the way.

Hope the Florida peeps are okay.

3. I'm north of New Orleans, about 100 miles inland as the crow flies.
We got nothing here. But, up in the northern part of the state, from Meridian northward, it's supposed to be pretty bad. I would NOT want to be on the 26th floor of the Golden Moon right now. :scared:

11. It's just a normal evening. We didn't get any rain...
but the county northwest of us got LOTS of rain...but we got a pretty good bit of wind. Didn't lose power, so I have no complaints. :D

10. Thanks for PMing me.
I have several to respond to...I just wanted to check in and say hi to everyone. I'm fine. We got some good wind late this evening, but we didn't lose power. YAY!

Thanks for caring!

4. Hurry-Gloucester prices are rising
I never understood why it's still so cheap, relative to the ritzy towns that surround it.

Florida is so flat the flooding must be terrible. At least the Mass shore has hills so flooding during winter storms only hits the low-laying areas. I feel really bad for our Gulf Coast DUers-this must be scary.

5. OK. Gloucester has a shallow gene pool.
It used to be an island, isolated during the winter. You slept with who you could. There's two families in all of Gloucester. It's a big secret that everyone knows about. You piss one off, you piss them all off.

I've said too much.

6. I kind of got that vibe
what else do you know about Gloucester? At one time there were a lot of heroin addicts there.

7. Still is. Lots of gays, who get along well with fishermen(women)
No lie. Years ago some bus driver was murdered for drugs or something. People from Lynn go there to buy drugs. Gloucester cashed in on the Perfect Storm and they rebuilt the Crow's Nest on Main Street, but you can still get your face splattered all over the bar if you are stupid enough to ask the wrong questions.
