Oh what the hell, let's design a car. POST A PICTURE.

I started thinking about this this morning. I haven't flesshed it out at all. I thought you guys might enjoy brainstorming the perfect lefty car.

I've gotten this far: I think there should be two cars (at least), one designed as a two seater based on economy and environmental issues, and a second family car that adheres to the same values.

Gentle...persons, start your engines, please.

3. Ok
First you recycle the body from a car previously made. Should be a model that was lightweight, like a Ford Festiva. Next, change the engine. Maybe you make it diesel that runs on cooking oil, maybe you turn it into a hybred (if you were lucky enough to buy the plans from Mother Earth before they stopped selling them), or maybe you simply hitch the thing to a horse.

7. Ford Festivas are TINY.
I once tried to stuff myself in the front seat of a Festiva, and I had a hard time doing it. and I was 12 at the time. How about something the size of a Honda Civic?? That's a lot more decent size.

9. I was thinking it should be designed to be the same every year...
like a volkwagon to prevent people buying a new car every year unneccessarilyyy (sp???).

Maybe make the body out of matte finished plastic that never appears to age.
