1. Re: Taco Bell - the founder's last name was "Bell"
So at least there's a reason for it.

18. I can't argue.

Just as the "Meximelt" is a very traditional, genuine, authentic Mexican dish.

Italian for "Kitchen kitchen."

I've been told that in Spanish it sounds like something else, forget what they said though.

They even had orange butter. The food was okay but that name, well, it kind of doomed them when they tried to go national. There is still one left in Santa Barbara.

8. Fudruckers.

The name sounds like some sort of obscure sexual act or behavior ("SBM, enjoys movies, classical music, massages and Fudrucking").

Bugaboo Creek is another one. Sounds like the name of a county someone would visit if they were into the movie "Deliverance".

Don't know if it's "nonsensical pseudo-ethnic" though.

"Don't know if it's "nonsensical pseudo-ethnic" though."

But as long as Olive Garden, Pizza Hut, IHOP and Outback Steakhouse pass muster I figured what the hell.
