I took my car in for service tonight. It needed an oil change, work on one of the wiper blades and a look-see to figure out why it was hesitating sometimes when I went to start it. Turns out I needed the fuel pump replaced. Three hours later I was down $592. $592!!!:cry:

It took me a seven-day work week to earn that much money, and in three hours it was gone.

Some things just don't seem right. :hurts:

for awhile the oil change people were replacing my radiator cap every couple of months when i went in for a oil change....

i had to specifically ask them not to do that...

funny thing...as i was waiting in line...three people ahead of me had their radiator caps replaced too...just part of the service...or store policy...

Never heard of that one...I suppose some places will do anything for a buck though.

I also read recently of some place (darned if I recall where) that actually had a separate price list for women--that is until one fiesty lady caught on and raised hell.

8. no, im unemployed...

so i have to try to look for a job like this... last time i went out tryin to look presentable i had to ice my eyes cause the bags under em were so bad... just so i didnt look like an addict of some sort... dont think it worked.

10. I had the refrigerator repaired on Wednesday

the ice-maker had backed up into the cooling unit and was slowly killing the Kenmore side by side refrigerator/freezer

the good news was that it was fixable and I really did need to clean out the old leftovers ... it had to stay turned off for 24 hours to fully thaw out

the bad news is the light in the freezer isn't working now ... hopefully it's just a bulb
