The intro movie to the site is hilariously creepy.

5. That's where you drill a hole in your skull.
To let God in, or something. They say it improves the O2 to the brain. Sounds kinds scary to me, but people do it.

self-trepanation is really underappreciated. I believe we should sell self-trepanation kits to republicans with a faulty powder charge.

Also, Russian Trepanation, by Hasbro

6. I need that organization like I need a hole in the head!

Seriously, are these people NUTS! They claim doctors refused to perform them because "there weren't enough studies to demonstrate the benefits"?!?

Ummm... IT'S A HOLE IN THE HEAD!!!

I like the way they say it's been done for thousands of years, in every country across the world... while showing all these futuristic, spacey, utopian scenes.

What they should be showing are sub-human creatures in caves and Monty-Pythonesque "bring out your dead!" scenes.

Then they say "can it allow you to reach your full potential..." blah blah blah...

THAT'S IT! It's either a spoof on self help cults or the most ruthless genius self help program ever devised.

Sad thing is, people will bite.

9. No, man, they're totally serious.
and they're right about the witch doctors and all that doing it, but still... :scared:

Check this out:

Archaeology constantly throws up surprises and one of these is the indisputable evidence that trepanation (making a hole in the skull, usually for medical purposes) was practised by some of our Neolithic and Bronze Age ancestors. Trepanation has been carried out throughout human history and across cultures, worldwide, and even today it has its advocators.

They're trying to restore some sort of balance to childhood levels.

It doesn't make a whole lotta sense.
