I'm just not a morning person, y'know?
I can't bear the morning light. It seems creepy to me. I think I'm actually a little afraid of morning. I sleep in as late as possible whenever I can. The only thing I want to be up to in the am is working. Go ahead and get it over with in my least favorite part of the day. I like late afternoon light. I like staying up late and playing on DU or watching an old movie. Can anybody else relate to this?

2. I wonder if it comes from too many parties up all night when I was younger
You start to hear the birds and the sky starts to lighten and you run for bed with regret like a vampire!

3. Chinese folklore has it
that you feel most alive as the day gets closer to the time you were born.

I know that I start feeling my best as early evening descends, and I was born at 6:50 pm.

I could live so easily as a bat.

8. I'm exactly the same way.
For me morning light = scrubbing toilets or doing laundry.

I don't start thinking interesting thoughts until the afternoon...

9. I used to stay in bed till at least 10:30 - then we got the dog.
and that was the end of that.

The thing is, the dog sleeps about the same amount of hours at night as we do - but he insists on going to sleep about 7:00PM, then getting up at about 5:00 or 6:00AM
