Then the verdict was read: not guilty, on all counts. Immediately, the crowd outside the courtroom started screaming and cheering and crying. "Praise God!" many mouthed repeatedly. And I'll answer it this way: The simple thing is, when a victim comes in, and the victim tells you they've been victimized, and you believe that, and you believe that the evidence supports that, you don't look at their pedigree. We look at what's right. You do the right things for the right reasons, and if it doesn't work out, that's why you have a jury system."

They are some kind of homing pigeon. They are released at weddings or sometimes other parties. You can rent them very easily. I have never rented any myself but I have watched them rehearse before. They will "home" back to their roosts after they've enjoyed their flying time.

...are homing pigeons available for low-rent publicity stunts. There was a major issue with this because of idiots at weddings doing it (and PETA getting involved) back in the 90's. Pet shops sell pigeons (aka: white doves) routinely for the purpose of release to mark sentimental events. I seiously doubt that this woman went out of her way to find trained birds to toss into the breeze. Besides, that would've been the "resonsible" thing to do; does her obsession seem "responsible"?
