3. Falling Water is okay
But in general I'm not a fan of FLW's work.. and I have a degree in architecture. I do like his leaded glass, his corner windows and some of his detail work.

6. The Kalita Humphries Theatre
This is kind of a cheesy picture of it, but it's the only one I could find.

This is the only theatre designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. I've spent many happy hours attending plays at this theatre, and the attention to detail and small touches make it, truly, a work of art. It's so much fun to go to a play there and see all of the cool design elements. However, my brother helped stage a play there one time, and he told me that Wright did all kinds of weird stuff backstage that only served to make the space much harder to work in. Oh well, I suppose we live and learn. It certainly is a great looking space!

7. The Marin County Civic Center.

I've been there, it's a great building. All FLW fans need to go to Oak Park, IL though.

"I knew well that no house should ever be put on a hill or on anything. It should be of the hill. Belonging to it. Hill and house should live together each the happier for the other."

11. My childhood memory of shopping an FLW house but ending
up in a house by Gerrit Reitveld, that looked a lot like this other one by him:

He was a member of the De Stilj movement, with Mondrian, and the exterior of our house resembled a Mondrian.
