It was climbing up the wall in my office--right next to where I sit here at my computer.

It's still there.

Think this says something about the cleaning crew?

1. I remember an episode of "Night Gallery"...

...this guy kills a spider, and it comes back...a little bigger.

He kills THIS one, and it comes back...a little bigger.

The episode ends with him going in his bedroom. He sees his bed shaking. The camera pans around the side of the bed, and there on the carpet is the spider in hiding...AS BIG AS THE BED.

Just sayin'...this probably won't happen to you.

2. i think about stuff like that everytime i kill a spider

or roach. what if they do come back? or their friends do...

3. I worked in a cube farm for one company

similar to Blockbuster, and noticed during the first week that the carpet was filthy -- full of pulled staples, those little paper circles that fall out of 3-hole punches, etc.

So I asked my supervisor, "When do they clean?"
She said, "They don't"

Turns out there was a community vacuum cleaner that you could use yourself when it got to where you couldn't stand it anymore.
