It's in the street right in front of my house, so I pass it a lot.
I'm getting tired of looking at it, but I'm not sure I want to handle the clean-up.

get a road crew out. Tell them it's a road hazard. All the old time cops used to carry shovels.

see link: http://www.flex.net/~lonestar/armadillo.htm

The armadillo is the only animal, aside from humans, known to carry leprosy. For this reason it is illegal to sell a live armadillo in the State of Texas. Leprosy aside, the State of Texas has adopted the armadillo as its official state mammal.

27. We called the road crew about a dead deer at the side of the road
It was a pregnant doe on our property that someone hit. They would only come pick it up if it was in the road.

So we had to drag the thing down in the woods to decompose somewhere else.

We should have drug it into the road.
