1. I've heard the original of "Red, Red, Wine" and of course it beats
the UB40 version.

But "I Saw the Sign" is simply effing inexcusable.

May they rot in Hell listening to their own work for eternity.

10. To each their own. I think they were great, personally.
And again, WHAT did they do that sounds even remotely reggae other than maybe "Walking on the Moon"? And even that is just a slow shuffle, imo.

4. "I Saw The Sign" is considered a reggae song????

My vote is for any song by Snow, like "Informer."

That was hoorrrrible.
On edit, I included a pic of Snow, but it was way too big for as sucky as he was.

8. I see we agree

Snow didn't even speak patois, even though he poorly imitated it.

7. "The Tide Is High"? That never sounded reggae to me....
It doesn't sound reggae to me at all. More like mariachi or something. But I'll vote against anything by Ace of Base (VERY Base) any day. Every song they did is the same shit. It's disgusting.

15. Can't believe "Red Red Wine" is losing this one
That is the absolute most annoying song ever. And it goes on at its monotonous, loping pace FOREVER.

It is worse than a d@mn root canal. It is like having a freaking spine surgery without anesthetic.

17. Why not just say....
...anything ever by UB40, the self-righteous bunch of tossers.

I mean the reggae version of 'I got you Babe' with Cher.......pass the sick-bag Alice!

22. You're right
UB40 was a phenomenon (short-lived, thank God) that I will never understand. They just frankly blew.

16. Led Zep's "D'yer Mak'er" was their "reggae" toon.
A fine song but considering it was reggae influenced...
