Poll question: Spooner? Spoonee? Get the hells away from me?

Are you a spoonee or spooner? Or one that scoots to the edge of the bed to avoid all contact? I'm a forced spooner, as my partner can do nothing but curl up and be spooned all the night long. What about you?

10. I'm a reformed cuddler

Back in the day when sleep wasn't as important as it seems to be now, I cuddled and spooned. Now? Screw that crap! I need my four hours of sleep each night, dammit.

Mr. CornField, on the other hand, is a steamroller. He likes to start out on his side of the bed and then roll his way over to me during the night. When I wake up because half my body is hanging over the side, I get up and move to his side of the bed. Usually, by the time he has rolled his way back to me, it's time to wake up anyway.

But only early in the night, or after the lovin'.

When I get into really deep sleep, I prefer to go it alone. That's the good thing about 15 years of marriage, you get in sync and can roll apart without anyone even waking up.
