Okay, I am seriously considering getting these glasses:

What do you think? Are the frames too much? I love this look, and these specs would definitely be one of a kind, but maybe they're a little too much?

3. Sorry, they take me straight back to the 50s
Maybe retro is in now but I hate that style. Just my 2 cents.

I'm with you.
Only the ultimate geeks would wear this kind or those army issue looking glasses or just the plastic frames that are popular now. I think it just goes to show how old we are. I know they are the rage now but I just think LOSER NERD when I see them. However, according to today's styles they are probably pretty cool.

4. If you love the look, then go for it.
Frames are a great way to express yourself. I like interesting and unusual glasses.

5. Love them! I just got new specs and paid a small fortune (I HAVE to have
polycarbonate lenses with all the trimmings due to blindness in left eye).

If you are stuck, like me, wearing them every waking moment regardless of what you are doing, splurge away. I did.

6. The plastic bottoms get icky yellow really fast
Don't know how long you plan for them to be in style, but be warned.

7. Can you photoshop them on your face?
Or at least put a pic of you and the glasses next to eachother so we can all get an idea?

12. I don't think I can. There's another website that sells glasses,
and I uploaded my picture on that one. I got to try glasses on my face, but they don't have these particular frames. So I can't get a exact idea of how they'd look, but I got some frames that were close enough that I have a general idea.

And it's not a terribly flattering photo, so I'd rather not post it.
:(

I love retro glasses. When you're doomed to wear them 24/7, you get tired of the current styles that everyone is wearing. I like to seek out interesting-looking older styles.

I'm trying to work up the nerve to get a good pair of cat-eyes, but I just can't bring myself to do it yet! :D

8. Sorry, don't like them
The frame may look sharp on your face but the frame itself reminds of something an aunt wore in the 60s.

11. Need more info
what is the shape of your face? If they make you comfortable and happy, get them. Before I would give a real opinion, I need to see them on your face compared to the glasses you had before.

13. very retro
back to the 50's. Although back in the 70's we went through a craze of wearing 'granny' glasses...which were wire-rims and 'granny' shoes which were lace-up ankle boots with kitten heels. Everything old is new, again. I sure they will be cute as heck on you. Trend setter, you.
