I saw Revenge of the Sith last night. Holy crap that was bad! I guess Lucas feels if you slap enough CGI on something it'll be great! Reminds me of Peter Jackson's philosophy!

Anyway, "The Magnificent Three" was much better



At least Calculon's N-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O !!!!!! is heartfelt! He's a much better emoter than anyone in Lucas's train wreck.

Woe to all of us who grew up loving Star Wars.

1. Sorry, I though this one was awesome.

The first two shit the bed, but this one rocked in my opinion. He fixed all the problems with the first two.

2. I had to laugh when he said that those people

over the age of 25 are going to hate these movies while those under 25 will love them. I never realized that age was a factor in realizing that a movie just plain sucks.

3. Not quite: Jar Jar Binks was still alive at the end

While it didn't blow chunks quite the way the first and the second one did - it doesn't quite work (plot holes abounding folks like why are building the death star at the end of movie when they won't need it for 18-20 years?) And I suspect that in the end adventure and rebellion are easier stories to tell than those of political intrigue and lastly, Darth Vader is a much more interesting character than Anikan (sp?) Skywalker who whines a lot if truth be told

4. I love that it took them 20+ years to build the first one

and like 2 years to build the second one. Maybe the Empire's just becoming more efficient.

I *believe* that for decades people thought that the titles for the Prequels were supposed to be (I have little idea where these rumors come from):

Episode I: The Seduction of Darth Vader
Episode II: The Clone Wars
Episode III: The Fall of the Republic

Under those guidelines, Anakin woulda been Vader by the end of Ep I, and *that* is exactly what I woulda done. He didn't need to be all masked, but could have eventually gotten "worse". Spend the first movie on Vader and the next two on the destruction of the jedi and the destruction of the Republic.

Anyway, hopefully some die hard fans will go ahead and write and produce Eps I-III the way we had wanted them.

I gotta give props, though, the scene where Vader gets the mask put on was really quite good. Other than that. Pretty damned weak.

8. Tell you what, It was so bad that the sheer suckiness of it jumped from

the screen and embedded itself in my skin. From there, it worked it's way into my system (slowly,very slowly) down to my stomach and colon....uh huh!:7 explosive diarrhea. By the way, I'm pretty certain I have never met anyone who was a fan of the originals who said things like " Well, it was good,BUT..." or how about this one? "The first two sucked, but this one rocked" My personal favorite? That would have to be " It's almost as good,if not better, than Empire". Now,now....let's not flatter Empire,people. ;)
