1. Co-housing
Co-housing in a community of like minded people and where there is enough green space for the little kids.

2. Sounds excellent....
Shared kitchen/living space, separate sleeping/lounging space, shared cooking responsibilities, shared land. So where are we building this thing? :)

3. There is one to be built in the little town above me
if all goes write... development should begin next January. This is a red state but I've enjoyed the blue friends i have met here so while I have to live in this state this would be my ideal living arrangement. Oh yeah and it is probably going to be brick (bricks made from material from browfilds so further cleaning up of and re-using our environment). And shared meals only has to occur once or twice a week. There will be smaller kitchens and eating areas in each dwelling. Dwellings for the most part be mixed use - commerce on the bottom and dwellings on top.

4. That sounds really cool!
Are you part of the development process/crew? How difficult was it to do?

5. Well networking is good
A Deaniac friend of mine told me that a friend of hers had purchased the land and told me about the process. She asked if I was interested. Being in on the development of a community I think is good because you can spread the word to those that you think would fit well into the community and help shape the community.

7. Boat, boat or Houseboat?
Either sounds good to me.
