Goo Goo Dolls Fans For Peace at DC Rally
I admit I didn't really know anything about the Goo Goo Dolls before I took this photo on Saturday in DC. I have since learned that the Goo Goo Dolls are a rock band and their fans have a web site at www.fansforpeace.org. From its main page:

The Goo Goo Dolls oppose war.

They have spoken out during concerts and interviews, and they have urged fans to try to do something. But how can one person change anything?

If everyone believes they're powerless, it's a self-fulfilling prophecy. There were a couple of boys from Buffalo who wanted to rock the world with their music. They kept at it, and made their vision happen. Now it's time for a new vision, and the boys from Buffalo aren't alone. Millions of people are realizing that things need to change, or there won't be anything left to fight over....

This site is a resource for fans who want to learn about the alternatives to war and corporate domination, and why it's so important to pursue those alternatives. The sites we've linked to provide several different perspectives, and lots of ideas for how to make a difference, if you choose. You can connect with other fans who are working for change, and you can share your thoughts about the issues. We hope that by rallying the fans, we'll encourage the Goo Goo Dolls to keep speaking out.

Thanks for visiting! Have a peaceful day!

Here's two dedicated fans trying to change everything.
