13. Stalin was an interesting case of pathology.

He was swimming in it. I don't LOVE him, but I find him interesting, and wonder how people who lived under his regime miss him now, even though he made their lives a living hell. People raised under communism just have a different mind set than those of us who aren't used to that.
I don't know why you love him. Maybe you have a desire to be a communist dictator? :shrug:

The biggest difference is that Hussein didn't maintain gulags, he just killed people right out. Stalin killed vastly more, of course, having a much bigger state and therefore many more people available to kill.
