Amazing band. I also love Dennis' Lost Patrol project. Not to mention Refused, one of the bast hardcore bands of all time.

3. I'm seeing them next Wednesday!

Here in San Francisco at The Fillmore.

I first saw them when they opened for Offspring last year -- loved them!

5. At the Offspring show...

the crowd was filled with young white males who appeared to have very little interest in politics. It was right before the election and when the band started to get political about Bush and called for his removal, the audience turned against them and started booing.

In response, the lead singer went off an a HUGE rant, berating the SF audience for their apathy and telling them punk wasn't just about wearing baggy shorts (a direct slap at Offspring). He then flipped them off and launched into this amazing song that he just verbally hurled at them. The whole band was just on FIRE with this song that was essentially a giant "fuck you" to the audience. The attitude was "I am going to ram this socialist punk song down your capitalistic throats and you are going to LOVE me for it!" -- and the audience did! They went absolutley nuts!

I was totally :loveya: at that moment. Can't wait to see them next week.
