Wish me luck guys
Edited on Sun Oct-26-03 09:52 PM by corarose
I start classes tomorrow and I f*cking missed a 7 hour long class on Friday and I didn't know it. Shittttttttttttt!
It's only my Math class and I had to drop it last time but I know what was covered in the beginning.

Well anyways I will be going 6 days per week. Three times a week I have classes from 10:00 to 10:00 and I didn't relize this until I logged in to get my schedule off of my Colleges INTERNET website.

I hate getting out of class that late at night. I walk to and from school because I have to get some exercise in and they don't have a bus that goes down Orleans Street anyways. The only thing is my college backs up to Cabrini Greens housing project and when it gets dark out it gets kind of scary.

NOW THIS IS THE PART THAT I NEED PRAYING FOR:

God, please don't let me get Chef Bitch because I will have to walk out. She Throw's soup at you if you don't add enough salt. I don't want to get into trouble when I toss something back on her.

My new class is Garde Manager & Buffet Production. I wanted a morning class so that I could learn to cook breakfast but I don't think that anyone wants to pay to learn how to cook breakfast do they?

Anyways I will be real busy and I wish all of you the best for the couple of months that I won't be able to get back on here.

KEEP UP THE FIGHT GUYS!

BTW I TOSSED OUT MY DIET PILLS THEY WERE MESSING WITH ME REAL BAD.

8. Thanks Guys
If I get Chef Bitch I will take that class next semester and then I will be back on here.

When I had her for soups and sauces there were 40 people in the class on the first day. All of us were sitting down when Chef T entered the class and then about 15 people started to walk out and leave and they didn't come back.
I asked someone what was going on and they said that people were leaving because they didn't like the Chef that was teaching the class. I thought that I would take it as a challenge and a challenge was what I got.
She takes phone calls from her son during class and she walks out instead of teaching you. She also picks her favorites and if you suck up to the Witch you will be her favorite.
I had people from other classes tell me that she failed them over arguments that she had with them.

GOD I HOPE THAT I DON'T GET HER BUT I HAVE A GUT FEELING THAT'S WHOM I AM GOING TO END UP WITH.

12. In a kitchen
The chef is God. I have worked with and known well some monumentally temperamental assholes who pull crap that is blatantly illegal and wouldn't be tolerated in any other industry. In the kitchen, it flies. People are so hot to work with and learn from a MasterChef, to put his or her name on their resume that they will happily tolerate all manner of abuse. You suck it up, or a line of wannabes two miles long will step in to take your place before you've even got your apron untied.

I worked with a guy that would make you bunnyhop around the entire kitchen singing in Japanese if you were two minutes late for a shift. I have known chefs who would chase a guy up and down a wall because the produce order didn't include some exotic fruit you have to send to Singapore for.

If Chef says jump, you don't waste any time asking 'how high,' you jump and it damn well better be high enough.

14. This B*tch came from the best hotel in Chicago
She is a 5 Star Chef and she lets you know it all of the time.

You know what I mean about how temperamental they can be. I think that the old bag is going threw the change of life and she is taking it out on all of us.

Two of her favorite GIRLS from the burbs brought in expensive wine to cook with and she gave them both A's and referred to them as 5 star chefs.
All of the rest of us used the shitty box wine to cook with. One girl was 8 months pregnant and she turned her soup in 5 mins. late and she told her that she was too late and failed her.

One day I had a court date at the Insurance Board and we had a written test on that day and I could have passed it with an A and she wouldn't let me take it and she said that she didn't make exceptions for anyone. The next day a guy called in sick and we had another test and she gave him the test the following day when he came in.
I gave her proof that I had a court date and she wouldn't' let me take the test and he calls in sick but he can make up the test which was not right. I started disliking her more from that day on.
I would have gotten an A in that class but she wouldn't let me make the test up that I missed.

Now, that's a BITCH!

13. I passed that class already
I had an argument with the Bitch a couple of weeks into the class.

She told me to mop the whole kitchen and then when I was moping she asked me why I didn't know how to clean.

I am on disability for severe pain which is RSD and I can get out of cleaning but I don't ask them for special favors.

The boys usually mop the floors for us "girls" and we do the dishes.

She gave me a B+ and that's rare for her because she fails half of her students.

I gave her a cookbook as a gift and I wrote a note in it. I told her that we are all the same no matter where we come from or what race we are and that she needs to treat us all the same. Everyone knows that she only likes people who are like her and I am the same as she is but I don't have any respect for her. She is a prejudice bitch!

15. It's the French term
Edited on Sun Oct-26-03 10:28 PM by corarose
They have it spelled Garde Manger and it's pronounce "Grand Monje".
That's how it is spelled on my program and it might be a typo but I got the pronunciation wrong one day and they yelled at me.

Hey Ms. * you are pronouncing Grand Monje wrong and you need to take a French Class.

18. I can't cook that good at home right now
I lost all of my cookware but I am not complaining I go in to College and cook and it's fun.

I will cook for you guys someday. I just won't make any more French stews.

I made some couscous tonight and It stayed down and I don't mean that in a food poisoning way. I am having trouble keeping food down.
