How are gasoline prices where you live?
They dropped $0.08 cents in my town this morning. Did George Bush screw up and do something right?

Any info on just why prices are dropping after being high for so long?

:) :)

4. Going down, captain! Cheapest regular unleaded is $1.97.
Still way higher than a year ago. And 5 years ago? Let's not talk about that, OK?

7. I'm at
$1.99. When it went up that high I was outraged. Now I feel onlly relief, as I have to drive 150 miles a day to and from work.

Good thing the government says that inflation is under control. I believe it, cuz the government says it it true!

9. Right.
And we certainly won't mention the $0.23/gallon it was before Nixon installed his wage/price controls. Nightmare years.

14. 2.339 to 2.359 yesterday. I haven't been out yet today.
I doubt they dropped. Prices overall have dropped two to three cents in the last month, but when prices go down, they never seem to drop as fast or as far as other areas.

15. Down To $1.89 In Southwest Virginia....
where I work. Prices are typically 7 to 10 cents more expensive here along the border in WVA. Even higher as you move away from the Virginia line.
