1. Wow, LOL. Not a biggie.

Spyware can't catch evrything.
Some smarter people will be along to give you some tips.

First, go to http://www.doxdesk.com which will tell you your trojan/problem (if you just see his blog entry, you don't have anything he can detect). You should also be able to click on 'solution' for it, or something.

2. Spybot, and Ad Aware

free programs.
Download and run.

CW Shredder another good free program.

For no money I would go get adaware.

5. Same thing happened to me--Go to Microsoft's Web Page and download

their new AntiSpyware removal tool/program. It's still in Beta but it's the ONLY thing that worked on my PC. Yes, I know it's MS's fault we have this shit happen to begin with but I do recommend this removal tool & program highly.

9. from a security standpoint...

most people get viruses/spyware from downloading porn or visiting porn sites. Because there are far more pornography websites then anything else, you are more likely to get a virus from one of them- as opposed to, say, the National Librarian Association website.
