Things that were supposed to be big but never really were.
Spuds MacKenzie - did anyone ever explain why we were supposed to think he was cool?

Max Headroom - would have been cooler if he wasn't in Coke commercials and was just in the series (the sci-fi one, not the talk show)

Yahoo Serious - I think he made a movie even, right? But other than his hairstyle, what was he supposed to be about?

Fido Dido - I think I had socks with him on them, but I didn't get what he was supposed to be other than a drawing

It's weird that all these seem to be from the eighties too.

What ones have I missed?

4. Big Brother...
...It restored my faith in America that that show bombed here. After living in Spain for so long, and seeing how Europe as a whole is consumed by that one particular show (They have talk shows after the show to discuss what they just saw on the show).

Actually, they do go faster than I thought, but I figured they were just a substitute for walking originally. I just picture like, people who wear sweatpants and fanny packs riding those.
