Because bulemia is a serious illness and people are SUFFERING from

being bulemic. I'm not saying some people don't struggle when they realize they are gay, but it isn't a disease.

Besides, look at the sources of the jokes: It's not like the gay people on this board don't know how much we love them.

I'm kind of equating this as being more in line with, let's say, someone having their name mentioned in the subject line of 200+ threads in the span of three months.
