Race For The Cure this morning - and it's pouring down rain.

It's been raining for two days. We've been in a flash flood watch.

But...the race must go on. Right? I said I'd be there, so I plan to be there.

1. The New Orleans Race for the Cure

is in October. Usually have a very big crowd. You don't have to run it if you've paid your entry fee. Just enjoy the festivities. I don't know where you are, but the post race activities in New Orleans are carnivalesque. Even finding a cure for breast cancer is reason for a party in the Big Easy.

My son & wife (a cancer surviver) just left for his high school's annual "Relay for Life". They will be @ it all night long.

4. I went - and it was fun despite the rain.

Due to the large turnout, I wasn't able to walk as fast as I would have liked, but we had a good time.
