Parents treat attractive children better
Harrell's researchers followed 426 sets of parents and young children around Edmonton-area grocery stores to find out what the contributing factors were in grocery cart accidents.

He found that parents tended to keep closer watch over and be more careful with attractive children than with unattractive ones.
...
Parents of unattractive children were also more likely to wander away from them or completely lose sight of their children. Men heading up the shopping trips were also more likely to ignore ugly children than women.

1. Some parents treat the more attractive kids like crap
So they won't grow up with "the big head," you know?

How would you like to live in that area and realize that the way you treated your kids was being researched? How would you like to be those unfortunate "unattractive" kids? Jeebers.

4. Here you go. . .
<snip>

Researchers rated kids' appearance on a scale of 1-10, depending mainly on the symmetry of their facial features.

8. I'm always watching out for other peoples' kids in grocery stores...
whether they're attractive or not. I worry about the ones who try to stand up in their carts.

7. Ok...How many parents find their children unattractive?
I can't imagine why the modeling agencies haven't been screaming for mine.
