What folks fail to tell you is that they'll also used their combined intelligence to foil any attempts of puppy training.

I cannot tell you how many dogs I've trained not to jump on things by setting booby traps with loaded soda cans (empty cans with 10-20 pennies inside). For whatever reason, puppies find such noisy cans to be the most scary things on the entire planet. The kitten, however, believes them to be the best thing since tinfoil balls.

I set the booby trap and she trips it so that she can play with the can. Have you ever seen a cat 'play' with their prey? The kitten is using this same approach with the can. She purposefully swats it toward Belle, who is deathly scared of the can. Belle begins to bark and back up. That excites the kitten who then gives the can yet another swat. The pup rushes to get away, but looses her footing on the tile floor. She lands... OMG... on the evil can!!! She pees all over herself.

The kitten jumps to the window sill to sing with the birds. Her puppy and human torture is complete for the moment.

2. Someone is requesting pictures?!?
You made my day! I love sharing photos of the pets & kids. I snapped a couple just for you.

The is the "kitten" (aka Spook). Since she was born last September, I'm not sure if it is correct to still be referring to her as a kitten. Regardless, she and Belle are best buddies.

Here's an updated shot of Belle. She's wondering why I don't want her pulling the sheet off the mattress. LOL!

3. How cute
Belle looks just like a dog my brother used to have who died a few years ago. I'll try and see if I have a picture of her. She was a lab, beagle cocker mix.

A kitten is usually a kitten for the first year, sometimes there is always a little kitten in there, even in the oldest cat who loves to play.
