4. I think my dog is a moderate republican. I don't know though.
I hope not. It was either Homer or Hank. We went with Hank. We could have named him Boomhower (spelling??)

7. This is the "two disc collectors edition"...
...and it's just being released today, so they want to sell it to you again with some added "bells & whistles."

8. I haven't seen it, but plan to buy it
I saw the play three times in San Francisco.

The music? A few songs are very nice, a few really grate on my nerves (like "Masquerade") and a few are OK. It all pretty much averages out for my tastes.

Visually, it's another issue. While I've read that some concessions were made to translate this from the stage play to film, they (supposedly) tried to remain faithful. The scene of Christine in the graveyard...and several others...were AMAZING on stage.

I'm not a Webber fan, either, so I liked the play based on its own merits. I don't think I could sit through "Cats" if my life depended on it.

9. I couldn't sit through Cats either
but I do like the song Masquerade. In fact it was done really well on film. My 23 year old daughter hated the film. She saw Phantom 4 times while I only saw it once. The Phantom is a real person in the film, while in the play he's more spirit like.

Rent and see. I still think the Phantom was hot. So did my 15 year old daughter. Husband and 17 year old son also went to the film and claimed they liked it but I thought they were both going into a coma.
