do you enjoy a good paraLLeL parking job?
i sure do. many a time, i'LL stop what i'm doing to watch someone paraLLeL park.

if they're a bad parker, i become consumed with rage; especiaLLy, if they're one of those puLL in forward kind of parkers.

5. I like to ram the bumpers of asshole parkers on purpose
when I park behind them, just to let them know they are dicks

Thankfully for me,
now, if I were to see one of those pull in forward bad parkers, I can claim that I felt threatened and shoot them (Florida).

4. pull in forward doesn't work!
Edited on Fri Apr-29-05 11:01 AM by kick-ass-bob
I love watching them - then they start getting self concious with me standing there...
one time they were so embarrassed, they drove off!!

PS - I aim for parallel parking without having to pull back forward at all. That is the true mark of an excellent job.

I like watching them try on a single space.

Then they can't figure out why they can't park well!

16. I am the QUEEN of Parallel Parking!!!!
I swear one of the reasons my future husband fell in love with me was because I am so good at it... ;-)

I had to learn to parallel park in a city where people are unforgiving if you can't do it quickly.

So once when he was with me I parked on a steep hill in record time and I was just 1 inch from the curb...it was a thing of beauty!!!

recently I saw a coworker trying to park his car...and it was pathetic...and he knew it....took him forever ..I wanted to just tell him to get out and let me park it...

22. I used to be a truck driver then ..
a truck driver trainer. Part of the training program was to be able to parallel park a 48 foot trailer. (53' trailers weren't common yet).
I was very good at it! Should have seen the looks on students' faces when they watched.

:hi:

I never drive my car into parking spots either, I always back in.

24. I love it
when I can do it in one try without having to do any back-and-forth straightening afterward -- hard to do when there's a line of cars behind you waiting to get by. It's especially impressive when you can get into a space that's not much bigger than the car. I've had plenty of practice -- even in Hoboken, NJ, which has to be the toughest parking city on the planet.

25. Yes I live on a hill and it is fun to see someone pull up & park on one go
It is also fun to watch people try and try and try, then leave.
