World Series Boycott: Day IV
Busy, busy, busy...grading exams, doing errands and making dinner.

Late tonight I'll be watching Ken Burns: Baseball, Part IV. This World Series is of no interest to me, and if the Yankees go up 3-1 today, the ratings will plummet tomorrow. Ask any FOX executive and he or she will tell you that they wanted either a Cubs-Red Sox World Series or a World Series with one of those two teams. So did the majority of the American people.

1. obviously the Sox and Cubs didn't want a WS berth bad enough...
I'd rather have the best teams win...than the second best teams fans bitch about how the high the ratings would have been if their guys were just a bit better.

8. I'd root for the DODGERS before I root for the Yankees!
And for an A's fan still pained by Kirk Gibson and Orel Hershiser from 1988, that is saying a lot.

continue to be jerks and keep responding to the guys whose teams didn't win? Enquiring minds want to know:)

7. I would have become a "fan for life" of baseball
had the Cubs and Red Sox made it in this year. I think that would have been the most awesome thing to happen in not just baseball, but all of sports, in a LONG time.

But, as it stands, I couldn't care one iota about this year's WS and come next year I won't bother to follow the season at all unless either the Cubs or Sox are on top of their division again.

13. Yes, I think it's wonderful when the same team always wins
It makes it so much fun for the rest of us. I really regret the 75% of the World Series the Yankees didn't win. How awful that must have been for them and for their fans.

"The first World Championship for the New York Yankees since 2000! The 3 year wait comes to an end!"
