I started a thread on Mad Cow Disease, and no-one's looking!

They have been lying about this disease for years. Did you know that there have been at least 13 cases in NJ. All 13 individuals had visited the same racetrack in NJ over the years. This has only come to light because of the fine investigative work done by a friend of one of the victims.

No wonder Anne Veneman (? sp) wanted to get out of that job so badly!

And, to think it would not exist if they would just feed these poor creatures in open pastures.

Somehow, I knew this thread or the other, serious one, would bring out the vegetarians. I don't blame you, either, for not eating meat. There are serious risks in eating it; but for me, the risks are worth it.
