Computer question from dear old mom
My mother says that cant click on any links that are sent in email or on yahoo messenger. Nothing happens when she clicks on them. I cant figure out why she cant and I can. Any clues?

1. Whoever sent the links may have not made them hot by
having the cursor at the end of the URL (the URL is usually inserted as a cut and paste from the browser bar, righ?) anyhow, have the cursor at the very end of the URL and then hit enter/return on the keyboard. The URL will light up and underline itself. It is now hot and should work when received by the message recipient.

Hope that helps.

2. Sounds like she's got her mail client option set to Plain Text
This would strip all the HTML out of any links.

My sis had the same issue until I changed the setting for her. :)
